About Trinity Monitor Lutheran School
Our Vision is to provide a Christ-centered education for all of God’s children.
Our Mission is to prepare students for the future by equipping them with spiritual strength, establishing a foundation of academic achievement, and creating Christian leaders.
Trinity Monitor Lutheran School has a long and rich history of providing Christ-centered education to the families of Monitor Township and beyond. The school originally met in the church basement shortly after its dedication in 1880. A separate school building was built across the parking lot in 1952. The school has seen renovations and expansions in 2004 and 2018 to keep up with the growing number of students we serve in the Great Lakes Bay Region.
The dedication and commitment of the Trinity Monitor Lutheran Church congregation allows our school to continue providing an excellent education at a very reasonable price to the families that choose to enroll their children. Our school is blessed by the countless volunteer hours that God continues to provide through the families of our church and school. Trinity Lutheran School is the mission of Trinity Lutheran Church and as such is serving the Great Commission.

Trinity is accredited through National Lutheran School Accreditation and is continually working through the self-improvement program as it prepares for revalidation every 5 years. A partnership with Carrollton Public School District allows us to offer elective classes such as art, physical education, technology, music and band. Our competitive sports (Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Cross Country and Track) are for grades 5 – 8.
Technology Philosophy: While we understand the need for technology, as a school we focus on digital discipleship giving our students the tools they need to use technology in a safe and appropriate manner. Triniity does have an up-to-date computer lab for the technology elective, one-to-one tablets or chromebooks for each student (grades 3-8) to use in their classroom for educational purposes, as well as NWEA standardized tests. All devices are equipped with the necessary software to restrict access to the web.
