BOARD OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION – OPEN POSITIONS: Trinity Lutheran Church & School is seeking to fill two open positions on the Board of Christian Education. These positions will be elected at the May Congregational Voters’ Meeting on Sunday, May 17th. Terms begin in June, with each term lasting three years and a maximum service of six years. Interested applicants must have a love for Jesus, a valid teaching certificate from the State of Michigan and willingness to serve our church and school families. BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN: Celebrate the mothers and fathers in your life by changing lives! When you fill a baby bottle with spare change, cash, or a check, you are helping LifeClinic provide free and confidential medical services, parenting education classes, and resilience support to anyone in the Great Lakes Bay Region. Pick up a baby bottle today and return it to church by Father’s Day, June 21st. Bottles are on the table in the back of the church. Thank you for your generous support!
RECOGNITION OF GRADUATES: On June 7th we will be giving special recognition to the members of Trinity who graduate from high school or college this year. This recognition will take place during the 10:30 a.m. service. Please wear your cap and gown as well as any medals, stoles, or cords you may have received. Meet in the church basement by 10:15 a.m. Recognition for the 8th-grade graduates of Trinity Lutheran School will also take place during this service.
TONI & TRISH HOUSE: With heartfelt thanks to our generous community, we’re excited to celebrate the completion of renovations and an addition at the Toni and Trish House, including an upgraded guest suite, welcoming entire family gathering space, and improved accessibility. Please join us for a ribbon-cutting celebration on May 19th. An open house will be held from 3:00-6:00pm, with remarks and the ribbon cutting at 4:00pm. Light refreshments will be served. The Toni and Trish House is a nonprofit providing compassionate end-of-life care in a home-like setting at no cost to guests or their families. We hope you’ll join us at 4699 11 Mile Road in Auburn to celebrate this special milestone.
RUMMAGE SALE: The Essexville Rummage Sale Weekend is coming May 15 and 16. The Women's Guild/LWML of Pilgrim will be renting out spaces in the parking lot at 1705 Nebobish. Please contact June at 989.225.4060 to rent your space. The Ladies will also be hosting their annual Bake Sale and Concessions on both days from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Come out and purchase a treat or two!
