4th Grade

I graduated from Reese High School.  I completed my Bachelor Degree and Master Degree from Saginaw Valley State University.  I have a K-5 all subject, K-8 self-contained elementary certification with endorsements in 6-8 middle school social studies and science.  I have a Master Degree in educational leadership.  I have taught previously at Trinity in Reese, at Burton Glen in Burton, St. Stephens in Saginaw, and Renaissance in Mt. Pleasant.
I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have two boys.  My oldest son is a JAG (lawyer and Captain) for the United States Air Force.  He graduated from Frankenmuth High School, received his Bachelor Degree from Princeton University, and his Law Degree from George Mason University in Washington D.C.  He is currently stationed in Minot, North Dakota and will be leaving in early October for a deployment to Africa for six months.  My youngest son we lost in a car accident while the two boys were on their way to school in April 2004.  My husband teaches welding and machine trades at the Bay Arenac Career Center in Bay City.  My husband and I are currently members of Trinity Lutheran in Reese.
My husband and I love to travel.   I am a Tiger fan, a Wolverine (GO BLUE) fan, and I love to read.  I am excited to be back in a Lutheran school teaching middle school!  My mission for this school year is to help each student feel excitement as a learner, success as a student, and respect as an individual.  I will work to develop a classroom of young people who are accepting and caring toward each other.  I want my students to feel respected as individuals and valued as important members of our class.
I want children to recognize that they are Children of God and to encourage them to use their abilities that they have been given to make this world a better place that God has made.
